Every 6 hours means every 6 hours, from your last dose.

Take one late and the next moves with it. A reminder every 4, 6 or 8 hours that counts from when you actually took the last one, not from the clock.

Carry on overnight The gap counts past midnight too.

First dose taken at 10:30 AM, 2½ hours late. Lavio moves the later doses back by the same amount, keeping the gap you set.

Set it up once.

The gap is whatever your label says. Lavio keeps it for you, whatever time you actually take each dose.

Set the gap
Choose how many doses a day and how far apart, as your label says. The times fill in from the first one.
Keep the gap between doses
Pick it under “If a dose is late or early”. From then on, each dose is timed from when you actually took the last.
Carry on overnight, if you need to
Turn it on and the gap counts past midnight too, so a late evening dose moves the next morning’s with it.
Log each dose as you take it
The next reminder is set from that moment. A dose logged late moves the rest; a dose you skip leaves them be.

Through the night, if you need it.

Turn on “Carry on overnight” and the gap counts past midnight: a late evening dose moves the next morning’s too.

The next one waits for you.

Until you’ve logged a dose, the next stays a full gap away and doesn’t remind you, so reminders never pile up.

How long until the next one, at a glance.

Widgets show what’s due and when. With Pro, a Live Activity counts down to the next dose on the Lock Screen.

Questions

Can the iPhone Health app remind me every 6 hours?

Only at set times of day. If you take a dose late, the next reminder stays where it was, so the gap shrinks. Keeping the gap between doses is what this page is about. Compared with the Health app

What if I take a dose late at night?

Normally each day starts fresh at the set times. Turn on “Carry on overnight” and the gap carries across midnight instead: a dose taken at 11:30 PM puts the next one 6 hours later, at 5:30 AM.

Will it remind me too early?

No. Until you’ve logged a dose, the next one stays a full gap away and doesn’t remind you. Try to log one too soon and it shows when you took the last, before saving.

What about a course that ends?

Give the medication an end date and the reminders stop there. Its history stays.

Is it free?

Yes, for up to 3 medications, with reminders and your full history. Pro is a one-time purchase that adds unlimited medications, the Live Activity, the export and app icon colors, and you can try it free for 14 days first.
